Our first big adventure away from Romania was to Prague, Czech, but we had a brief layover in Amsterdam, Netherlands... We had a good stop! Of course, we had to take a picture in front of this greeting. We had to wait nearly 15 minutes for the Insta Influencers to move out of the way, but we did get a pic.
We went to a good spot called the Cuddle Pub! It was delicious. Great food and great drinks, new finds and new things to try. Of course, I had to start the trip with a juicy burger. It tasted even better than it looks. The fries were great, too!
I tried the chicken sandwich as well! I had half of one sandwich and half of the other. The chicken sandwich was great, too. Flavorful, crisp, and hot! The buns were in top shape as well.
We also tried Bitterballen. It's a traditional food in the Netherlands! It was really good and they serve it with mustard. It looks like an American hush puppy, but on the inside it's like a mashed potato with chicken flavor consistency. You bite and let it cool to not burn your mouth. I recommend!
I hope I get to come back soon to Amsterdam and I would highly recommend everyone to visit! It's one of my favorite places I have been. If you haven't been, add it to your list!
